Returns & Refunds

If you have bought an item(s) online at and would like to return it, we would be happy to arrange a refund where appropriate. If you change your mind, you can return your purchase in its original condition and unopened within 14 days. You will need to return the item in its original packaging along with your order confirmation number. 

If the product you purchase is faulty, or not as described, we may offer an exchange, refund or repair as appropriate.

Products can only be returned to the store which shipped the product or where you collected it from. Not all of our stores take part in the supply of delivered goods.  It may be that your local store is not the delivery store for your area. Each store has its own range tailored to its size and customer base, so sometimes products are available in your local store but not in the store which delivers your online order. 

To return a product please email the store directly using the email address from your order confirmation email. They will contact our courier partner who will then issue a reverse collection label instructing them to collect the parcel from your address and return it to the appropriate Homevalue store. Alternatively, the product can be delivered in person to the appropriate Homevalue store. There is no charge for returning your product in person.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund we will deduct a shipping cost of €6.99 for a standard item or €17.99 for a bulky item.

If you are returning a faulty item within warranty with a receipt, then you may be entitled to a repair. If it cannot be repaired you may be offered a replacement and if it cannot be replaced you may be offered a refund. With the nature of any faults, each case will be dealt with on an individual basis.

If we agree to provide you with a refund we will instruct our payment provider to credit the original card used to make the transaction within 14 days of receipt of the returned product.  

Refunds to bank cards can take up to 10 working days. If you have not received your refund within this time, please contact us.
