Peter McVerry Trust

Charity Partnership

Our current Charity Partner is Peter McVerry Trust, which is a national housing and homeless charity committed to reducing homelessness and the harm caused by substance misuse and social disadvantage.

We first collaborated and partnered with housing and homeless charity Peter McVerry Trust in 2022 and have completed a range of initiatives with them since then.

One of those initiatives included delivering a range of materials and supplies to Peter McVerry Trust, including new:

• Three-seater benches
• Dining sets
• Picnic benches
• BBQs and more

All to help support the charity in the development and maintenance of their on-site Residential Community Detox Centre in north county Dublin. 

The delivery of this equipment and materials helped to support Peter McVerry Trust to upgrade their Detox Centre, one of the oldest services at Peter McVerry Trust, ensuring access for participants to a key space for the organisation.

The donation helps to support Peter McVerry Trust participants in what can be a difficult journey while in recovery and treatment and help create positive memories to carry with them as they start their new chapter upon completion of their treatment.

Fundraising Efforts

We also took on challenges such as the Hell & Back challenge, a sky dive and a member of staff from a Homevalue store shaved their hair off all to raise funds for Peter McVerry Trust.
